Gerard Rodriguez

Program and Partnerships Manager

Pronouns: He/Him

Gerard has been working in environmental restoration and Indigenous community engagement for 8 years, starting as a youth advocating for education in the environment in Southern Oregon. Since then, Gerard has been dedicated to building a future that reconnects the next generations to nature and restoring the landscape.

Now focusing on food sovereignty and natural land management policy in the Portland Metro area, Gerard works to integrate Traditional Ecological Knowledge and place-based practices to the way we teach youth, steward the land, and empower our communities.

Currently Gerard serves on the board of Friends of Tryon Creek and the Native American Community Advisory Council.
